What’s on my ballot and how do I find out which groups are endorsing the candidates and measures on my ballot?
Use Case
A voter visits LiveBallot.com or uses LiveBallot on another organization’s site before an election to look up endorsements and information on the candidates and initiatives on their ballot. The voter makes selections, shares recommendations with family and friends, and emails a reference sheet to take with them to the voting booth.
Biggest Drawback
Live Ballot’s real potential would be giving voters detailed information about little known local candidates or obscure ballot measures. However, the information for these categories of ballot choices are often disproportionately incomplete compared to the topic ticket, and do not include more than information on recent internet searches.
